  • Same bird, one wing beat later - gaining altitude
  • It amazes me how this almost 6 lb bird can gracefully land on this fragile limb. The mate is waiting on the limb.
  • Wings now shifted to what I call an umbrella for landing.
  • Wings now back for what I think is to steady itself on the very small limb. Everybody now ready for handoff of limb.
  • Handoff to mate! She will go to work on placing it exactly where she wants it. He will look for more shortly.
  • "I see you and if you move you're done for."
